Joanna Cole - Soprano
Australian soprano Joanna Cole has performed regularly Internationally and Nationally in Opera, concerts, oratorio and recitals which has earned her a reputation for her beauty, technique, musicality and power, as well as the sweetness and clarity of her voice. Joanna brings to each of her performances a finely honed sense of dramatic skills. She has a prolific number of operatic roles to her credit, most of which she has sung for Opera Australia.
Adrian McEniery - Bass
Adrian McEniery is a graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. He has been a member of the Young Artist Program at Victoria State Opera, where he appeared in the title role of Faust and as Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni.
Adrian has been a regular principal artist for Opera Australia, in roles including Edmondo in Manon Lescaut, Pang in Turandot, Andres in Berg’s Wozzeck, The Major-Domo in Der Rosenkavalier and Gregor in The Makropulos Affair.
He has also appeared in many roles for West Australian Opera and the Victorian Opera.
Tenor Michael Lapiña
Since 2008, tenor Michael Lapiña has been engaged with many of Australia’s leading opera houses to perform some of the most coveted tenor roles in the operatic repertoire. His roles have included Nemorino in Donizetti’s L’ELISIR D’AMORE, Der Tanzmeister in Strauss’ ARIADNE AUF NAXOS, Cavaradossi in Puccini’s TOSCA, Pong, Emperor and Calaf in TURANDOT, Goro in MADAM BUTTERFLY, Malcolm and Macduff in Verdi’s MACBETH, Beppe and Canio in Leoncavallo’s I PAGLIACCI, Remendado in Bizet’s CARMEN, Don Alvaro in LA FORZA DEL DESTINO and the title role in Gounod’s FAUST. Most recently, Michael received great acclaim for his performances of Alfredo in LA TRAVIATA and Manrico in IL TROVATORE.
