Featuring the Australian premiere of a new composition by William Schmidt, The Two Trees. Commissioned by Victoria Chorale, William has created a wonderful choral work drawing on William Butler Yeats’ famous poem. The concert repertoire will build on a theme of coming home, returning to musical and cultural roots.

We are delighted to be performing with the Ballarat Wind Orchestra in August 2026. Founded in 2009, it is the region's premier wind ensemble. We share not only a passion for fine music but also Music Director and Conductor - Mario Dobernig! We will have a concert in Melbourne on Saturday evening 29 August followed by a concert in Ballarat on Sunday afternoon 30 August. 

Supporting choral music in regional Victoria is one of Victoria Chorale's charitable purposes and we look forward to further opportunities to partner with regional choirs and musicians.
