About Me

A Bass 1 singer. After moving from Sydney to Melbourne in late 2019, joined Victoria Chorale for the December 2019 Christmas concert. Sang with the Leichhardt Espresso Chorus in Sydney. Retired in July 2023 after a management and consulting career in the health sector. Elected President of Victoria Chorale in April 2024.

To Ballarat in 2026
Victoria Chorale is delighted to be performing with the Ballarat Wind Orchestra in August 2026. Choral Composition Grant
As a registered charity, one of our charitable purposes is supporting emerging composers. We are delighted to announce we have commissioned William Schmidt to compose a SATB choral work to be performed by Victoria Chorale in the latter part of 2026. The commission is supported by a grant to William from our Donations Fund. William has two Masters degrees in piano performance from the University of Melbourne and the Music and Arts University of Vienna, Austria. He has performed many solo piano...

A magical sold out Christmas Concert
Our Christmas Concert at St Paul's was again a highlight of the Melbourne choral calendar.
