Following its highly successful European concert tour, Victoria Chorale returned home to join forces with the Ballarat Wind Orchestra in Collingwood Town Hall for an afternoon of inspiring music in Coming Home.

Included alongside the Australian premiere of The Two Trees, the new composition by our rehearsal accompanist and award-winning concert pianist, William Schmidt, commissioned by Victoria Chorale, was a selection of works by Giuseppe Verdi, Gustav Holst and others, finishing with Peter Allen's I Still Call Australia Home and I Am Australian by Bruce Woodley and Dobe Newton.

Collingwood Town Hall was full and no one in the audience could resist joining in to confirm that we are all Australians.

We repeated the performance the following day in Ballarat's Wendouree Centre for Performing Arts and had a great time.
